About the Role

Stella Global is launching a new Residential Design & Build department, offering Vietnamese homeowners access to interior design services delivered by Singapore-based interior designers, with execution, materials sourcing and installation carried out by Stella Global in Vietnam. The Interior Design Supervisor will be the key coordination point between our Singapore design partners and Vietnamese homeowner clients, ensuring designs are accurately understood, costed, localised and executed to the highest standard. This is a unique opportunity to help build a new business line from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between Singapore-based interior designers and Vietnamese homeowner clients throughout the design and build process, in both Vietnamese and English.
• Coordinate design briefs, concept presentations, material selections and revisions between designers and clients, ensuring clear and accurate two-way communication.
• Translate and localise design intent, drawings, specifications and material schedules for execution by Vietnamese contractors and Stella Global’s installation teams.
• Source, recommend and procure interior materials (carpets, wallcoverings, flooring, fabrics, decorative glass, opening solutions, etc.) from Stella Global’s supplier network in line with design specifications and budget.
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors and vendors to ensure design intent is correctly executed on-site, conducting regular site visits and quality checks.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and documentation for each residential project, flagging risks or delays to both designers and clients in a timely manner.
• Support homeowner clients through site visits, material showroom presentations, and explain design concepts/technical details in a clear, client-friendly manner.
• Help establish workflows, templates and standard operating procedures for this newly formed department.
• Build strong working relationships with the Singapore design team to ensure consistent quality and service standards.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design, project coordination, or design & build, ideally within residential projects.
• Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and English is required (written and spoken), as this role bridges Singapore designers and Vietnamese clients.
• Strong understanding of interior design drawings, material specifications and construction/installation processes.
• Excellent communication, client-facing and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting design concepts to homeowners.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple residential projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in design/drafting software (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) an advantage.
• Experience working with overseas design teams or in a cross-border/cross-cultural work environment is a strong plus.
